How it is worked out
Each list scores its top tier 1 and its bottom tier 0, in even steps, counting empty tiers. A player a list leaves out gets no score from it.
A player’s place is their average across the lists that ranked them, shown in fifths: S from 0.8, A from 0.6, B from 0.4, C from 0.2 and D below. Only players ranked in at least 3 lists appear.
Lists count once per browser. Adding your list again replaces what you sent before.
Making a Blue Lock tier list
A tier list is an opinion, and the most useful ones say what they are ranking. Rank by current ability, by how much a player changed a match, or simply by who you like reading about, and name the list so others know which.
If you want the story’s own verdict, the programme ranks its players itself. The official ranking below is the latest recorded for each player, and the full history is on the rankings page.

Making a Blue Lock tier list
- How do I make a Blue Lock tier list?
- Tap a player to pick them up, then tap the tier you want them in. On a computer you can drag them instead. Tapping a player already in a tier picks them back up, so moving somebody is the same two steps.
- Can I save my Blue Lock tier list?
- Yes. Sign in and it is kept on your account, up to 20 lists. Without an account it is held in this browser, so it survives closing the tab but not switching device.
- Can I download my tier list as an image?
- Yes, free and without an account. The picture is drawn in your browser and saved straight to your downloads.
- How many tiers can I have?
- It starts with the usual five rows and holds up to ten. Every tier can be renamed and recoloured.
- Which players can I rank?
- All 193 footballers and coaching staff on record. Family, press and officials are left out.
