The rule
Format
- 301 participants were divided into 25 teams of 12, with one team of 13.
- The entrance test was Bird Cage. One player picked a partner, and the pair became the "birds".
- The rest formed a cage and had to pass the ball between them for 136 seconds without losing it.
- If the birds won the ball they went through; otherwise they joined the cage and a new pair was chosen.
- Only the first three pairs to succeed advanced.
