PIFA keeps this list rather than any single club or country. A player is added for their own ability rather than results, and the requirements below are the ones the source states for making the cut.
Everyone named so far is entered for the 2019 U-20 World Cup. France is the only country with two members at once, Vivian Hugo and Julien Loki, and Teddy Knight is the most recent addition.
How members are chosen
Selection criteria
- Reads the game at a high level.
- Competent as an all-round player even without the trait that makes them notable.
- One outstanding talent or distinguishing feature. Michael Kaiser’s own signature shot is the example the source gives.
- Publicly recognised already, not an unknown prospect.
- Younger than 20.
